Boys Youth Lacrosse
Northfield Raider Lacrosse (NRL) is a member of USA Lacrosse and plays summer seasons in Youth Lacrosse Minnesota (YLM). We field boys youth teams at 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. Participation in YLM has our games mostly in the South Metro.
8U and 10U teams have an end of year jamboree while 12U and 14U teams will finish their season in a State Tournament.

NRL follows USA Lacrosse age groups guidelines (12 month).
14U - 7th and 8th graders - $320
12U - 5th and 6th graders - $320
10U - 3rd and 4th graders - $320
8U - Kindergarten - 2nd graders - $245
When
The YLM summer season plays games in June and July.
NO EVENTS during the week of July 4th.
Practice typically begins in early April. Season will be completed by August 1st.
Uniforms and Practice Apparel
Game Jerseys are issued by NRL and remain property of NRL.
Practice Jerseys are included in New Player registration.

Games
The YLM summer season runs from the start of June through end of July. Teams can expect 1-2 games per week.
Most games are played Monday - Thursday nights at 6pm or 7:15pm.
8U - minimum 6 games
10U - minimum 8 games
12U - minimum 10 games
14U - minimum 12 games

Where
Youth practice and games are all at Spring Creek Elementary.
Away games will be played at all levels. Away games are often in the South Metro
Practices
Youth teams practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00pm - 7:30pm beginning in April.
8U practices 6pm - 7pm.
Practice schedules may change throughout the season once game play begins.

Do I need to be a USA Lacrosse member?
All players are required be registered as "player" members with USA Lacrosse. This is required by YLM and provides additional insurance coverage for NRL and each individual player.
